Lisa Henriques

Early childhood education has been my passion for over 30 years.  Every step of my career—as a teacher, early intervention specialist, director, and SHRM certified HR professional—has intentionally led me to Little Explorers ECEC. I am committed to creating classrooms and a community where children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn.

I am passionate about designing developmentally appropriate curriculum, fostering curiosity and creativity, and building a strong team of dedicated educators. Choosing the right teachers is essential to creating a successful center and a thriving community, and I work every day to ensure our staff reflects the values, professionalism, warmth, and excellence in care that families deserve.

As a parent of two teenagers and someone who has entrusted her own children to childcare, I understand the trust families place in us. Outside of school, I love music, dancing, cooking, and traveling with my family, and I bring that same energy, warmth, and enthusiasm into the Little Explorers ECEC community. It is truly an honor to be entrusted with your most precious gift.
